POP Light Troughs
DESCRIPTION: Plaster Of Paris (POP) Light Troughs are popular ceiling designs that use a trough or cove feature to support or conceal lighting units. Lightning plays an important part to enhance the overall ambiance. Ceiling Light Troughs create a visual illusion of a higher ceiling.
USES: POP Light Trough profiles are used to support and conceal an LED, Cold Cathode, or Fluorescent light unit. They can be used to conceal AC grilles or other services and are normally positioned at the perimeter of a room for wash lighting or to make two different levels with background lighting. They offer an accurate, consistent, and simple method of forming this using the same suspension material and jointing process as plasterboard ceilings. They create a clean and clutter-free void for easy installation of lighting products avoiding shadow and hot spots.
